Dr. Andre Pennardt

Dr. Andre “Andy” Pennardt, MD, is board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services, as well as fellowship trained in austere and wilderness medicine. He retired as a colonel from the United States Army after 23 years of active-duty service that included multiple combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq while assigned to the nation’s most elite special operations and counterterrorism units. He subsequently served as a regional medical director for wildland firefighting with the United States Forest Service and EMS director with the National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management. Nationally recognized as an expert in operational, wilderness, and tactical medicine, Dr. Pennardt actively serves as a sworn deputy sheriff, SWAT physician, and emergency manager. He holds additional qualifications as a dive medical officer, dive instructor, master flight surgeon, and mountain medicine instructor.
